CRM & Social Media Coordinator

Founded in Monterey County in 1972, Scheid Family Wines is one of the fastest growing wine companies in the country with extensive estate vineyard holdings and a state-of-the-art winery campus. In addition to our flagship Scheid Vineyards brand, we produce and market over two dozen core and exclusive brands including District 7, Metz Road, Ranch 32 and Ryder Estate.

Under general supervision, the CRM & Social Media Coordinator will be accountable for a broad range of Direct-to-Consumer and Social Media duties to enable efficient processes and project management. The ideal candidate will possess the skill, competencies and creativity to deliver on all projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage guest service and orders for the GIFFT, District 7 and Metz Road websites, including inventory management, handling restocking SKUs when they run low, quarantined orders, Amazon issues, etc.
-Replying to GIFFT, Metz Road and District 7 customer emails.
-Write draft content as directed for email newsletters.
-Write draft content as directed for social media communication.
-General customer email and phone correspondence, general customer service, as directed.
-Other social media and digital marketing projects as assigned and needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor degree preferred with one to two years of experience in sales, social media, marketing, guest service, hospitality and/or public relations.
-Passion for guest service and for authentically engaging with consumers.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Creative as well as technically and digitally savvy.
-Driven to deliver excellence; proactive, determined, high initiative, strong work ethic; resourceful collaborator who works inclusively and with a strong team orientation.
-Project management skills with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
-Interest in wine, viticulture, food, hospitality and guest service.
-Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality, accurate work product.
-Strong attention to detail, producing a high level of accurate results with minimal supervision.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
-Ability to build and enhance internal and external customer relationships.
-Ability to solve problems in a creative manner.
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PPT.
-Ability to learn new systems and procedures essential.
-Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Brand Manager

Scheid Family Wines is looking for a creative, focused and aesthetically-enlightened multi-tasker who will add fire power to our Marketing team. This position will be accountable for a very broad range of marketing, brand management and creative duties to build wine brands, engage consumers, enable efficient processes and have a ton of fun. The ideal candidate will possess the skill and creativity to deliver new and engaging content to all customers (internal, trade, wholesale, media, and consumers) within the boundaries of a dynamic, growing family-owned and family-operated winery.

ONLINE MARKETING COORDINATION
-Conduct monthly audits of assigned brand website pages and update as needed.
-Coordinate Google Earth vineyard education video projects.
-Working with Social Media/Digital Marketing Specialist, help develop trade/staff training videos.
-Liaise with sales team on any digital education sales tool needs.
-Create and maintain PPT and iPad Keynote presentations for DTC and wholesale use.
-Assist with any digital/web special projects as assigned (trending topic searches, statistical traffic reports, etc.).

GUEST SERVICE & SALES
-Develop new ideas and strategies to sell Scheid Family Wines products through wholesale, internet, phone or other channels.
-Occasionally answer phones; occasionally call, write emails or write letters in response to communication from Trade and Wholesale partners; occasionally perform as brand ambassador for Scheid Family Wines at offsite wholesale, trade and consumer tasting events.

PUBLIC RELATIONS & COMMUNICATION
-In coordination with the Marketing Director and PR agency, develop and execute focused public relations plans to support specific wines and company messaging.
-In coordination with the Marketing Director and PR agency, develop well-crafted communications, press releases and creative story ideas to secure coverage.
-Leverage opportunities with trade organizations and engage in regional campaigns.
-Coordinate and organize PR aspects of winemaker and Scheid family in-market visits, including media interviews for assigned brands.

BRAND MANAGEMENT
-Accountable for approved marketing budget and keeping projects on track.
-Communicate programs/initiatives to Sales Team and initiate educational programs for both internal and external guests.
-Represent winery through field surveys, market work, consumer and trade events.
-Develop business intelligence reports utilizing IRI and other available market data.
-Work with Marketing Director on all collateral materials for assigned brands to ensure creative is aligned with brand standards, strategy, look and feel.
-Coordinate special projects as assigned and needed for Marketing Director.
-Liaison with Marketing Director and Production/Purchasing for packaging materials on assigned brands. Coordinate all legal mandatories and time-sensitive documents including packaging specifications, label approval process and inventory issues through Teamwork. Ensure deadlines are adhered to for optimal project management.
-Attend press checks as needed to ensure consistency and to ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained in printing all packaging materials.

-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook and PPT.
-Ability to learn new systems and procedures essential; familiarity with Adobe Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Keynote, M-Peg Streamclip, WordPress, TweetDeck, TweetCounter, TweetArchivist, HootSuite, Social Oomph, YouTube, Eventbrite and Facebook Analytics preferred.
