Pinots from Santa Lucia Highlands lean towards a darker and denser style than their Burgundian cousins. They tend to have a little bit of tannin, a lot of dark fruit, and great leather and smoke on the nose. Our 2019 delivers mass quantities of cherry, cranberry, and currant, with notes of vanilla and toasty oak. Smooth, sleek and velvety, this wine captures the inimitable personality of this great vineyard site.

This single clone, single vineyard bottling of clone 115 has aromas of cherry, cranberry, and currant with notes of mocha and a hint of violets. Beautifully balanced, this medium-bodied wine has a vibrancy that makes it hum in the glass. The bright red flavors lead into a smooth and lingering finish accented by warm baking spice. It is a true reflection of the terroir of our Viento Vineyard as well as the exquisite Dijon clone 115.

Our Clone Series 777 is dense and complex, with highly structured tannins built to age.  Handcrafted in minute amounts, this Pinot possesses aromas of black cherry, currant and raspberry, with a subtle oak influence of vanilla and mocha notes.​

This single clone, single vineyard bottling of the Calera clone is an elegant and refined wine with classic Pinot Noir aromas of cherry, raspberry and currant with notes of vanilla and subtle oak.  This vintage has an elegant bouquet, plush texture, and persistent rich, red fruit finish.

A dramatic and vibrant wine, our Scheid Vineyards Clone POM has aromas of black cherry, currants and raspberry with notes of hazelnut, vanilla and toasty oak. It is a classic Pinot Noir, medium-bodied with soft tannins, balanced acidity, and a lingering, smooth red fruit finish.

Our 2021 Sangiovese is a rich, medium-bodied wine with soft tannins and a bright acidity. This vintage boasts aromas of black cherry, raspberry and currant, complemented by hints of rose petal and soft integrated oak. It is quite food-friendly and pairs especially well with savory Italian dishes, such as pasta with tomato sauce, risotto, and pizza. Salute!

Our 2019 Reserve Syrah is bursting with blackberry, plum and cherry aromas with chocolate, pepper and tobacco notes. The medium-bodied, velvety mouthfeel is supported by integrated tannins and toasty oak notes that move seamlessly into a supple, smooth oak finish. It’s lush, juicy and food-friendly, as equally comfortable with Saturday night filet mignon as it is with Tuesday night tacos.

Rich aromas of black cherry and plum with hints of coffee, sweet pipe tobacco and leather combine with distinct barrel notes of vanilla and smokey oak. This wine is full-bodied with finely structured tannins, rich black fruit, and a long lingering sweet oak finish.

The 2021 vintage has aromas of juicy raspberry, cranberry and fig, with abundant red fruit and a lingering spicy oak finish. As always, we’re proud to present our 2021 Old Vine Zinfandel or, as we affectionately call it, Zin Bob’s Way.
