Join us as we explore the origins of the Scheid Vineyards Claret. From the beginning in the Bordeaux region of France with the Classification of 1855, the influence of the English on this style of wine, the individual grape varieties and finally the differences between Bordeaux and Monterey and what makes our wines so special. Led by Winemaker Marta Kraftzeck, this class will include a vertical tasting of our Claret from 2006 to 2011 with the opportunity to compare and contrast the wines.
