The Scheid Vineyards Wine Dividend Program is our way of sharing the fruits of our labor with our family of shareholders. We have offered the Wine Dividend annually since 1997 and feedback from participants indicates it has been a hit. To avail yourself of this opportunity, all that is required is a minimum ownership of 100 shares of Scheid Vineyards stock purchased prior to the Wine Dividend date (hint: we traditionally declare the Wine Dividend in mid-June of each year). The amount of the Wine Dividend ($0.50 per share, i.e., each 100 shares = $50) can be used to offset the purchase of Scheid Vineyards’ wines up to 50% from the retail price, with an 8 case limit. Please note that the Wine Dividend cannot be paid in cash in lieu of wine purchases or applied to taxes or shipping costs.* Why offer a Wine Dividend? We believe that the Wine Dividend Program encourages our stockholders to experience the wines produced by our vineyards. Wine Dividend customers are a valuable source of advertising by word of mouth and, in this case, taste. Once our stockholders have indulged in the Scheid experience, they tend to become repeat customers and spread the word to their friends and colleagues about our fine wines. If you have not yet tried our wines, you should know that Scheid Vineyards produces about 3,000 cases of ultra-premium varietal wine annually and only the finest of the annual harvest bears the Scheid Vineyards label. Our wines are sold to the more exclusive restaurants and wine retailers in the Monterey and Carmel locale and are also available online and through our Tasting Room.
